I remember from my Fortran week in university, that Fortran has strict rules about aliasing that allow the compiler to generate more efficient code C in several cases. And I also have read about aliasing bugs/assumptions being wrong in LLCM and having to be fixed for the rust compiler.
Has Rust's usage of LLVM been helpful for Fortran? And maybe vice versa?
