Linus mentions using a GoPro. GoPro Hero 4’s go for around $60 on eBay and have decent quality. I have used it as a dash cam but only for a few hours. It will require some hacking to get it to record full time like a traditional dashcam.
- rasz 4y agogopro will unpredictably overheat, crash, refuse to record, stop record at random etc.
- mdmglr 4y agothat’s quite surprising. I’ve not personally had these issues but I don’t doubt it.
- rasz 4y agoAmateur car racing youtubers have constant gopro problems. Just from today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ytTUe_M90 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ytTUe_M90 Racing ~12 times in a year and having gopro die >3 times on you is really bad.
