"everything is getting faster and faster and faster... and still the internet is too slow" Yeah, because it's filled with ads and shitty frameworks which hugely overcomplicate the simple business of vending text to people who want to read said text. NYTimes downloads 56mb of shitty cookies onto my phone. All I do is open the occasional article and they do that. Twitter has hit as high as 63mb. No wonder the internet is slow if they have to download all that shit every time I visit. The miracle is that the internet is fast enough to make these objectively awful, shitty creations work at a tolerable speed.
