Maybe it's just me, but if a stranger can talk you into killing yourself - what the fuck else can a stranger talk you into doing?
Maybe people need to take some responsibility, instead of arguing the existence of Dr Evils in medicine.

In general I agree with you, but there are s lot of really people that fall for scams that seems hard to fall for for most of us.
