- Rackedup 4y agoyes. it is not even about crypto. (to make it clear, I am truly serious and not sarcastic) next thing, they'll make cash illegal like some other countries.
- jqpabc123 4y agoThe Money Laundering Crackdown is an Attack on Speech and Privacy. Every bit as logical and reasonable as the title of this post. In fact, they are pretty much identical. I mean, people who need to launder money for perfectly legal purposes should have the right to do so --- amIrite?
- danboarder 4y agoGlib, but did you read the article or watch the video report? Unlikely, or you would understand the specific amendments that are at risk, a measured argument is put forward.
- jqpabc123 4y agoA measured argument is put forward --- built on the foundation of an unjustified presumption that there are legal uses for money laundering.
- danboarder 4y agoOne example was Russians who want to anonymously donate to Ukraine using a mixer. Of course there are good uses. Legal status can change, and usually does to suite special interests or corrupt politics, quashing the freedoms of others along the way.
