- kyleee 4y agoWhy is this here again? Wasn’t this on the front page all of yesterday?
- soheil 4y agoHey Felix, really cool to see this here and that you were able to create it so quickly. Beyond js does it detect any native code interfering or tracking of the webview? I know for example this is possible: UITapGestureRecognizer *targetGesture = [[UITapGestureRecognizer alloc] initWithTarget:self action:@selector(handleTap:)]; [self.webView addGestureRecognizer:targetGesture];
- geoffpado 4y agoNo, according to the page: > Important Note: This tool can’t detect all JavaScript commands executed, as well as doesn’t show any tracking the app might do using native code (like custom gesture recognisers).
- aaaaaaaaaaab 4y agoI hope Apple cracks down on in-app browsers.
- borissk 4y agoI hope users get privacy wise and stop using FB, TikTok, etc... Probably your hope is a lot more likely to happen.
- motohagiography 4y agoI don't think it is accurate to interpret that Signal's in-app browser is captuing information about the user. If it were, that would be just impossible.
