Was there a question about this? That's the mechanism which motivates species to reproduce. Pleasure seeking behavior is not just a human thing. Afaik - I am not a scientist with a degree in animal sex.

I think the question was "are humans the only animals that find sex actually pleasurable, enjoyable and as such might do it just for the fun of it?" Without a clitoris it might be as enjoyable as scratching an itch. Hard to resist the urge, but not a great pastime. The second question scientists will pose is "do dolphins masturbate?" The third question: "would dolphins enjoy dolphin porn?"

I'm a surprised that machine learning and AI haven't figured out dolphin communication so we can ask them. Someday maybe.

If we're just talking about reproduction, females only need to want penetration. They don't need to have orgasms or enjoy it that much. Most human females don't achieve orgasm through penetration, but they still enjoy it. I've been told it's more like eating when you're hungry.

Someday a scientist will ask an artificial insemination tech what they know, and our knowledge of several more aspects of mammalian reproduction will grow. The female orgasm is important: it greatly increases the chance of conception. Inducing ovulation is possible through sexual stimulation, in many species. There's always individuals with different needs than the average for their species.
