A Tool That Monitors How Long Kids Are in the Bathroom Is Now in 1K US Schools
- Someone 4y agoHad to Google “hall pass”. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hall%20pass https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hall%20pass: “a card that shows that a student has permission to be out of class during class time” What countries do that? I guess that’s a USA thing. That’s weird enough, but making that digital and keeping all history around makes it extremely creepy.
- kaffeeringe 4y agoWell, they have got police, metal detectors and mass shootings in school. It fits that toilettes are regulated and students are under surveillance like that. So they learn how to behave in jail. The USA is the country with the biggest prison population. So it's useful to learn to live like that... Sorry for the cynicism.
