- metadat 4y agoHow has the `Ask HN' investment discovery strategy worked out for you in the past?
- cheerioty 4y agoSurprisingly inefficient so far, at least using "Ask HN". Mostly because people didn't raise their hands in the first place so far, which feels weird. But, a few weeks ago I responded to somebody asking questions about fundraising. We connected via Zoom for a Chat, and I decided to go ahead. I didn't even know what they were doing before the call but turned out to be something I liked. I have to admit that I mostly look for "true passion" and "GSD mentality" more than anything else when it comes to seed round investments.
