I'd say start with industry sector or company size. Go directly to the company rather than a recruiter, a good ol email showing genuine interest goes a long way. E.g. be the first dev hire, or look for IT related work in Antarctica...heck go all in and become a co-founder with someone. I think there's lots of interesting work out there, it's just often reverse correlated to your long term wellbeing haha
