Thread! Where do I get decent thread. Decades ago I had linen? button thread that would last in tough places, but now I can't find a substitute. Quilting thread doesn't last.
- goldscott 4y agoSearch for gutermann tera 80, mara 50, or mara 70.
- almog 4y agoThese are great examples of threads to use in outdoor applications (I use Tera 80 and 60 almost exclusively). However, I believe* polyester threads are not a popular choice when it comes to quilting (unless of course they are referring to the kind of quilt you use as part of your sleep system ). Going through Gutermann's catalog might be a good starting point though. * Since I don't have hands-on experience with quilting, I resort to belief
