One hazard a lot of folks don't think of is their own family (and/or their extended family). All it takes is one family member who disagrees with you, with your ideals, with your identity, and they feel completely justified to doxx you, and feel that you deserve whatever should happen to you as a result of your identity and address being exposed. And the police? They shrug their shoulders and go "Sorry, there's nothing we can/will do." I've seen this happen a few times on social media now. It's crazy.
