Quantum mechanics predicts that the difference is a factor of 4, not a factor of 2.
- analog31 4y agoWatch out for the difference between the wave amplitude and the power. Power is proportional to the square of the amplitude. I don't know if that's what you're doing here, but it's a familiar pitfall.
