Agreed. E-learning has the potential to: decrease the costs of getting an education, create the potential for "mass customization" of education, reduce credentialism in society, make learning an end in itself for many people, force universities to become less complacent, and probably many other effects I am overlooking right now. Starting an e-learning startup is something I REALLY want to do. I love learning and I love startups. I hope I can make that happen someday (nudges everyone with similar dreams).
