Ask HN: Best Alfred for Windows?
Alfred on macOS is lovely. Specifically I like using: 'filename to search for individual files quickly.
Sadly Alfred isn't available for Windows. What's the best "Alfred for Windows"?

- chunkles 4y agoYou could try Wox for it's more expansive capabilities. For file search you could try Everything published by Voidtools.
- n8ta 4y agoDoes it have the same easy to pull cmd+space type thing? I really like that it's always there no need to open an application.
- chunkles 4y agoWox has a preconfigured hotkey. Everything allows you to set a preferred hotkey in the settings.
- jpozo 4y agoEverything is the tool I miss the most on Mac, I haven't found anything even close
- zerr 4y agoWindows has its own indexing, filenames as well as content for specific types. Just press [Win] and type the filename.
