Buttons beat touchscreens in cars, and now there’s data to prove it
- jqpabc123 4y agoBig display screens are mainly just a distraction --- a sales gimmick. Give me a plain boring dash with a Bluetooth radio so I can talk hands free and play the 120 albums I have stored on my phone.
- GekkePrutser 4y agoA gimmick but also faster development. No need to finalize the physical input controls in the dash before the software is ready. I totally agree it's a bad option for the driver though. Especially for stuff you really need during the drive like climate controls
