Do they though? Do we have any history of Embracer's policies and what happens to IP purchased by them? Are they "just" buying up IP/games in order to make more money by reselling the rights to use the IP? What's really going on over there?
- GalahiSimtam 4y agoIt's two weeks to the amazing prime series drop, and also folks not familiar with that Embracer is the new name for THQ Nordic holding. If you haven't heard about THQ Nordic studio, the other day it was in the news for a teaser of a remake of Gothic - but if in the news it was called "Embracer makes a remake of Gothic", we would have these jokes about embrace-and-extend, too.
- aliswe 4y agoThey do not. But to be honest their C level people and the Board of Directors give me the impression that they are interested in the money, the games are just a coincidence.
