- stormbrew 4y ago3c by 2100 seems on the optimistic end of something that appears to be a non-linear process, though. Especially since we have yet to meet even a single global emissions reduction target. Kinda feels like they picked a number that would be alarming enough to spur action, but not as alarming as a more realistic "if we continue to fail to do literally anything" number that would be taken as scare mongering.
