Sex between men, not skin contact, is fueling monkeypox, new research suggests

This is something that has been widely known, but forbidden to talk about, for months. What changed to make it not a banning offense to mention?

It doesn't seem like that to me. There was talk of it spreading at European "sex raves" months ago: https://apnews.com/article/monkeypox-explained-health-72a9efaaf5b55ace396398b839847505 https://apnews.com/article/monkeypox-explained-health-72a9ef... What do people think happens at those parties? Board games?

I know heavy moderation of any slightly politicised issue is rampant on the mainstream sites, but is hn also moderated liberally?

Users flagged the submission. Moderators didn't touch it or didn't see it. It looks like you've been using HN primarily for ideological battle. We ban accounts that do that, regardless of what they're battling for or against, because it destroys what HN is supposed to be for. We've already had to ask you to stop this once. If you keep it up, we're going to end up banning your account, so please stop. https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html
