Exactly. Why can't we invent better manual controls that don't wear out as quickly, rather than switching entirely to something as problematic as a screen?
- jlawson 4y agoOr just design the manual controls to be easily replaceable. Not hard to make an insertable switch component that snaps into a slot, and which can be removed and replaced in 10 seconds using a simple tool (or maybe no tool at all).
