I'm guessing you mean instrumentation but that's separate than music as a whole (writing, engineering, singing (if any), etc). Would be interesting to track how studio musicians were affected by that, since it's only really their role (playing the instruments) that would have been potentially diminished. If AI were suddenly beginning to write and produce whole songs I think that would be a closer comparison to what's occurring here.
