- aborsy 4y agoTBI is a generic term. The article doesn’t mention the nature of TBI, or include CAT scans. TBI is severe with GCS 5 at the time of admission (thresholds are 8 and 12). The patient shouldn’t be able to read academic papers in neurology a week after accident! A lesion in the brain so bad that changes personality like that is expected to come with significant overall disability. So I can’t make sense of this presumably sensationalized story!
