- h2odragon 4y agoSo we feed the M&M's to the cows and pigs, thus concentrating their powers and giving us supermeats!
- toomuchtodo 4y agoDid you know they feed skittles to cows? https://www.newsweek.com/cow-eat-skittles-dairy-farmer-reveal-reason-1698035 https://www.newsweek.com/cow-eat-skittles-dairy-farmer-revea...
- moistly 4y agoDid you know they feed plastic to farm animals? https://www.dailydot.com/irl/plastic-pig-feed-tiktok/ https://www.dailydot.com/irl/plastic-pig-feed-tiktok/ I wonder if they were doing this back when the printing ink contained lead.
- superchroma 4y agoNot actually an outrageous article. They add sugar to feed as appropriate, seems fair. "He explained, however, that not all farmers use candy in their mix, including him. Instead, only farmers who live in a close proximity to a candy factory will likely use them, able to purchase them at discounted rates, often due to defective appearances."
- superchroma 4y agoActually a repost from an article by a Paige Carlson from Drovers: https://www.drovers.com/news/industry/peanut-mms-are-healthier-beef-and-pork-bill-gates-funded-study-claims#:~:text=Industry-,Peanut%20M%26M's%20are%20'Healthier'%20than%20Beef%20and%20Pork%2C,Bill%20Gates%2DFunded%20Study%20Claims&text=August%2010%2C%202022-,Bill%20Gates%20and%20his%20meat%2Dalternative%20agenda%20rise%20again%20through,than%20pork%2C%20chicken%20and%20beef https://www.drovers.com/news/industry/peanut-mms-are-healthi.... "However, considering the Gates’ standing agenda for meat alternatives, it’s no surprise to see many animal agriculture meats fall to the bottom of the list." Cowardly. The article should come right out and accuse Dr. Dariush Moaffarian, "cardiologist, nutrition researcher and dean at the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy" of academic fraud, and publishing lies for money if that's what they believe, rather than bury the lede at the end. Drovers, meanwhile, remarks "We are relentless stewards and advocates for agriculture’s present and future", so, burying the lede myself, one could argue that they have their own biases :)
