- NicoJuicy 4y agoWho said unaffordable? Worst case is 4 years more expensive. There are already new pipelines completed and there will be more to come. A lot of countries also don't rely on Russia ( eg. Belgium, where I live only imports 6% from Russia). Letting the bully do/kill what it wants is no option at all. And that's just stupid too. Fyi, We already had cheap gas compared to the rest of the world. Note: the more expensive it is, the better/faster the alternatives are innovated.
- ohiovr 4y agoI guess it doesn't matter if you don't live there.
- NicoJuicy 4y agoI live in belgium, Europe.... I donated for Ukraine, because Putin started war in Europe. I follow OSINT almost daily and read up about Russian military interventions in the last 30 years and their capabilities ( eg. BTG) - > 1200 pages. I am VERY much affected by all of this. Not only prices, because that's selfish shorterm thinking. Use some reasoning instead of just saying; let Russia do. If you think that would be a good thing, you should give me a reason why. Because Russia won't stop at Ukraine then and if China invaded Taiwan because we let Russia invade/kill the expensive prices you see now are going to be a joke compared to what you see then. Just ask Poland, Georgia, Chechnya or Finland why we must resist. I'd say you aren't affected if you're talking only about prices. Other countries don't even have enough food.m ( Egypt) and that's all part of what Putin wants... To get people on the table and be in a comfortable position as "negotiator" to get what it wants. And how: killing 30% of the population/families and displacing them to a new neighborhood ( and mixing with "ethic Russians" so they can't trust anyone.
