I wonder what went through their heads when they chose BTC over a lot of other cryptos. ETH, BTC, LTC, and others from early crypto days might have baggage but I believe there's a healthy amount of cryptos that are stable-ish (more stable than some national currencies) and could be good store of value. This might be analogous to the adoption of socialism by countries as well, well-intended but horribly executed.
