I pretty much only use delivery for restaurants that have their own delivery service instead of through these apps. This does limit it to pizza places mostly but at least the owner/manager cares if you complain and actually does something to fix the issues. Thankfully there is no tipping culture here so none of the drivers expect to get tips. Obviously the actual delivery fees are just higher instead but the drivers don’t have to rely on the altruism of the customers to make sensible money.
