There are plenty of other high-DPI laptops (don’t get distracted by “Retina”). Just search for a 4K laptop. It’ll have the same(ish) pixel density as a MacBook

There are plenty of other high-DPI laptops (don’t get distracted by “Retina”). Just search for a 4K laptop. It’ll have the same(ish) pixel density as a MacBook Pro.
Also, saying it has little or no impact on real world functionality is an opinion I strongly disagree with. I will never work on a low-DPI screen again because I vastly prefer the crispness of high-DPI screens.
