Software Development Is Subjective
- sylware 4y agoNowsadays it is more a scam based on planned obsolescence and non pertinent software Rube Goldberg Machines, than anything else. It is extremely hard to justify a sustained income in this area while being honest and fair, not to mention that the required skills for 99% of programming is no higher a high-school grade. I said it is extremely hard, not impossible.
- mbrodersen 4y agoGreat read. And obviously true IMHO. When you have 20 frameworks/languages/libraries/… all claiming to be the best way to do X they can’t all be true. They might even all be wrong. The key is to accept this. And stop thinking that you of all people objectively know the one true way to do X. The reality is that you don’t. So act accordingly.
