Amplifi has a poor value prop ever since UDM/Dream Router became a thing, although I previously recommended it for the same reasons you do. It would be nice to have a less complex app/frontend management interface for less tech-savvy end users -- if you could use the Amplifi app to see status and do basic troubleshooting on an Unifi network for instance--
