It took billions of years to get to that point, too. Complex life only really got going during the Cambrian explosion.
- wruza 4y agoIt took billions of years, but not so much of evolution itself but rather of saturating the entire atmosphere with oxygen, which was monumental work given they only had that much sunlight at the surface. Life has its limits (what doesn’t) but is very quick in a geological sense. Sadly there is not much time left for it.
