Meeting a pro is this easy
- drzhouq 4y agonot a self-promotion, however, the founder of the website is a friend of mine. if you really want to ace your job interviews, you may want to take a mock interview at the meetapro. Or if you want to help candidates better prepared for their interviews, you can offer your mock interviews there too.
- jfim 4y agoIt seems like this is just a generic interview practice website, not really a resource to "meet a pro."
- drzhouq 4y agoIt is kind of like dress rehearsal before your important job interviews. You will be "interviewed" by professionals who have done many interviews in different IT companies.
- paxys 4y agoMaking an appointment with a "pro" means something very different in most circles..
- meetapro 4y agoThank you jfim and paxys. We are starting with interview practice but will extend it to other professionals. Paxys when you said "pro" means something different, can you elaborate it a bit?
- paxys 4y agoSee https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pro https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pro. It is short for prostitute.
- drzhouq 4y agothanks for the reply, paxys. According to your link, the negative meaning is shown as the third use case, it seems the primary use of the "pro" is to mean "professional".
- nhinck2 4y agoAs with everything it depends on the context and how you use it. And this definitely made me think of prostitute first.
