It seems somewhat counter-intuitive to declare the source untrustworthy because of a lack of technical expertise while also worrying that the source exploited knowledge of the technology to bias the test. Based on the video, there is cause for concern. I've not seen any evidence presented which would entirely remove that concern, and it would have to be quite significant to do so.
