Some hardware stores offer tools for rent. However, there is zero overlap of between those and the tools they are selling. But it helps to decide what to buy elsewhere. Was trying to buy a table. Wasn't satisfied with what I could find in the shop. Went to the restaurant embedded within the shop. Nice sturdy tables there. Unfortunately, not for sale. The good stuff is out there.
