We have a Vitamix at home, in use every morning. After nearly 7 years, the blade block started to leak. They sent a new one. It was very interesting to see how they improved the design of the block in between. As I said somewhere else, first buy cheap, if it fails you know better what you really need and can buy the right expensive stuff. If it does not fail, enjoy your luck.
