- 1270018080 4y agoI've looked at this in the past, and it seems like if you want to live in a reasonably sane part of Wyoming it's going to cost $800k+ in housing.
- cjonas 4y agoThe few towns nearby are just as expensive. I own a home in Alpine WY and the market has gone up almost 100% since we bought in 2017. Victor/driggs is even worse (especially when factoring state tax). Only slightly better situation in Pinedale, Dubois and Lander. It's also deep red everywhere but Jackson and Lander... A lot of libertarians though, which makes it seem less oppressive than what I experienced growing up in the south...
