Who decide expected life? Isn't it fixed by product category?
- mianos 4y agoUnfortunately it is not fixed. The national consumer watchdog, the ACCC, says 'it depends' on things, such as the initial price and brand. For example, if you bought a premium fridge, at 4X the price of an ALDI weekly special buy, you would expect it to last a little longer. Maybe not 4X but more than the minimum.
