Norway Authorities Kill Freya the Walrus
- superchroma 4y ago"We have great regard for animal welfare" I'm not sure people who just stone-cold smoked a walrus should be rushing and making this point, maybe let the body turn cold first. Seems like a PR failure anyhow. I wonder if they could have done something that could be perceived as a token act of remediation elsewhere to compensate?
- foxyv 4y agoThe full quote: “We have sympathies for the fact that the decision can cause reactions with the public, but I am firm that this was the right call. We have great regard for animal welfare, but human life and safety must take precedence,”
- lesserknowndan 4y agoLooking forward to find out how they are going to deal with the bloody seagulls!
