- junon 4y agoI'd rather pop up ads than the societal breakdown we have today, if that was really the choice. Also, popups weren't on the niche sites. AdWords really changed that.
- icedchai 4y agoBy 1998, the Internet was basically mainstream. Broadband was starting to roll out (early cable modems and DSL.) I consider "early internet" 1995 and before.
