- thomassmith65 4y agoWords are not violence, but neither is censorship. It is true you can censor someone's view as a byproduct of violence, but you can't stab someone in the face by deleting their FB account.

- pksebben 4y agothis had me right up until she starts putting Dave Chappelle and JK Rowling in the same space as Salman Rushdie. Who's declared fatwah on Dave Chappelle? what groundbreaking social commentary is Harry Potter making? What, other than the tenuous connection between "authors that some people don't like" is the similarity here? Or do we have a personal opinion about trans folks we're trying to slyly prop up by using an issue that's less controversial in the United States?
