The fun thing is that 0F 04 (without the F1 prefix) would have been faster than triple fault or reset via the keyboard controller.

  Should take about the same time as LOADALL (195 clocks). All they needed it to do was reset the CPU. But instead the instruction simulates something like an ICE breakpoint and all the state gets written to memory! And then you have to run LOADALL as well just to clear the "ICE mode" bit again.

      This might not have been clear enough, without the prefix it will still (attempt to) save the state, but to ICE memory space.
