Now that SGX is dead, can we please get undervolting back?
It was axed due to the risks to SGX safety.
- chx 4y agoHow could we get this to Intel and partners? This would be amazing. Plundervolt protections make it impossible to remove the EFI variable write protection controlling undervolting. It would only require a BIOS upgrade to unlock it and then we could undervolt our rather power hungry Tiger and Alder Lake CPUs.
