Johnson and Johnson to replace talc-based powder with cornstarch
- legitster 4y agoSo... There's no possible way J&J's powder wasn't the safest on the market. Are all the other manufacturers going to have to follow suit?
- killingtime74 4y agoIf I was a father of an infant I would just buy corn starch and cut out the middle man
- Tsiklon 4y agoIt's been a while since I bought powder, in the UK it's been quite a long time (pre-covid?) since I saw Boots (a pharmacy chain) stock their own brand of scented talcum powder. I wonder has it been withdrawn from the market altogether here? I know for certain the baby powder I've been using since is cornstarch.
- tomatotomato37 4y agoIn October, J&J created a subsidiary, LTL Management, assigning its talc claims to it. It later placed it into bankruptcy, which paused the pending lawsuits. How is that even legal?
- ThePowerOfFuet 4y agoOne might even say that it was Less Than Legal.
- kbelder 4y agoBetter for frying, also.
