What does this mean? What is optimization in this context? Some kids (e.g. special needs or gifted kids) are going to require more hands-on time to reach their potential. For others, the standard curriculum is a great fit for them. It's a nice thought that all children get an equal amount of everything, but the fact of the matter is that not all children need an equal amount of everything.
