Indeed. At that time I worked at a dialup ISP. Our modem bank (45 total lines) ran off of a 60mhz Pentium with 64MB of ram and, I believe, something like 2 GB of disk. We also had a screaming-fast 90mhz Pentium with 128mb of RAM and 4 GB of disk for our web server.
