- bediger4000 4y agoHow is the legal link between an NFT and "intellectual property" made? "IP" is one of those real world legal things that NFTs work around by convention. Does buying a Bored Ape NFT grant you the copyright, or is there some other legal instrument that needs to happen?
- sprague 4y agoI’m not a lawyer, but my understanding is that no, NFT and copyright are parallel systems. Owning one does not imply the other. But for legal purposes, an NFT is a good way to prove provenance in the event of a dispute over copyright.
