Deep Learning Alone Isn’t Getting Us to Human-Like AI
- aurizon 4y agoI suspect a human child's maturation provides an analog of what an AI must go through to learn(at a vastly accelerated rate) which will require machine AI 'mentors' to 'rear' the AI - none of which we have ready to go. It is already clear that the computational parallelism to mimic humans is emerging, with the disparate mind processes/centers now being teased out. Not sure how this bootstrap will work, but at the speed of AI this process will be both iterative as well as rapid as the process emerges and gets enough consciousness to self iterate/regulate as it progresses.
