Mass fish die-off in German-Polish river blamed on unknown toxic substance
- Claude_Shannon 4y agoWhen there was a pollution in Vistula river caused by sewage treatment plants, our state media blamed the mayor from opposition. It was all they talked about. Now, the state's media quiet on this.
- rurban 4y agoThe toxic substance is now identified: mercury. It was first found near Oława (miles south Wroclaw, hours south of Germany) with lots of chemical and metallurgical companies at the river Oder, 28th July.
