My 18.04 is already beyond broken. "You have held packages" whatever it is supposed to mean. But alas, there are now Snaps and Flatpaks, which always work. :-)

- TryingToHelpYou 4y agoSimply try sudo apt update [name_of_package] This fixed the same problem I had moving to 22:04.
