Hmm, these days it's the security update that you want. Avoiding all updates will leave you with a vulnerable system.
I agree regarding staying well off the LTS bleeding edge, though. I usually wait around 6 months. Back in the early RedHat days, I remember waiting for the x.2 release.
- btgeekboy 4y agoThis is off the bleeding edge; 22.04 was released in April. But now that 22.04.1 is out, `do-release-upgrade` from LTS->LTS works.
