I liked Venice a lot the one time I visited, and hope to go back at some point. It would be hard to be motivated to actually move to a small town that is on a short clock to being submerged by sea level rise though, especially if moving entailed tying up money in property there. To really come back it seems to me some combination of a new non-tourism industry and a real commitment to protecting from sea level change would both be required.
